Antique Chinese Style: Alloy Window

Combining Tradition and Durability

Antique Chinese architecture with its unique styles has seen a resurgence in modern cities. However, traditional wooden windows that match these architectural styles are complex to produce and lack durability. In response to this challenge, designer Naizheng Liu has created the Antique Chinese Style Alloy Window, combining the sturdiness of aluminum alloy with the traditional aesthetic of wooden windows.

This innovative design features retro geometric modeling and wood grain texture, perfectly adapting to various styles of antique Chinese architecture, such as the Hui style, Su style, and Beijing style. The use of aluminum alloy materials ensures the product's durability and convenience for installation and maintenance. Unlike purely handcrafted traditional wooden windows, the Alloy Window is produced and processed using automatic equipment, resulting in enhanced product quality and higher production efficiency.

The Alloy Window offers a variety of window opening mechanisms, carefully designed to provide an outstanding user experience. By envisioning different use scenarios, the designer has incorporated features such as voice command, mobile app control, and wind and rain sensing. Additionally, the window provides excellent thermal insulation and a smart security system for pre-warning, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for users.

With its neat and clean texture lines, the Alloy Window faithfully restores the antique Chinese architecture found in iconic landmarks like the Imperial Palace and Classical Gardens of Suzhou. The product has undergone professional third-party testing, meeting the highest standards for physical properties, sound insulation, and thermal insulation. It can withstand up to 50,000 repeated openings and has a service life of over 30 years.

The design process for the Alloy Window presented several challenges. Achieving the exquisite lines required meticulous attention to detail and continuous adjustments to optimize the structure. The designer overcame these technical difficulties to ensure mass production without compromising on quality.

The Antique Chinese Style Alloy Window project commenced in Chuzhou, Anhui province on May 1, 2019, and was completed on November 8, 2019. The design was based on extensive research, incorporating various product standards, laws, regulations, and technical protocols related to aluminum alloy windows. The result is a product that not only meets professional requirements but also provides a safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing solution for antique Chinese architecture enthusiasts.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Accessories, Hardware, and Materials Design category in 2021. The award acknowledges the Alloy Window's well-designed, practical, and innovative qualities, meeting industry standards and contributing to a better world.
